Are you a photography nut or are you looking for a chance to interact with wolves and have the experience of a lifetime?
The fun doesn’t have to end at the visitor centre! With Blackwolf Photography, we offer interactive walks where visitors can embark on a leisurely hike along with one of our wolves as they lead us off-leash through their natural habitat on the western slope of the Blaeberry Valley. Not only will you be walking with a wolf, but you will also be taking in the 360-degree views of the jagged mountain peaks that kiss the skyline and the glacier rivers that descend through the evergreen forest.
For your safety, we always have qualified wolf handlers on the walk with you that will provide you with special safety instructions for the best experience possible.
We are on “wolf terms” while out walking with our wolves. Due to uncontrollable environmental conditions, we reserve the right to cancel the tour at any time when the safety of the humans or the wolves are at risk.

$100.00 Deposit Required For All Sessions
All Participants must be 16 years or older
All prices are in Canadian Dollars and taxes are included.
A reservation is required and a $100.00 deposit is due at the time of booking. We accept e-mail money transfers from our Canadian customers – we don’t use e-commerce, like PayPal. If you are from outside Canada, please contact us to make alternative arrangements for a deposit.

Group Session
In a group session, you will be walking not only with your party of people, but also with additional parties that you may not know. Group sessions have a maximum of 6 participants.

*IMPORTANT INFORMATION*
- Golden BC, observes Mountain Standard Time Zone. The same time zone as Calgary Alberta.
- Please come prepared for all types of weather. It’s better to have more layers than not enough, even summer can bring cool weather.
- We require that you wear long pants excluding leggings on the walk, have closed toe shoes, and that you are wearing NO fur – real or fake.
- You must be able to walk at least 2 kms and travel on moderate backcountry trails
- Minimum age is 16 years old, minors (18 and under) must be present with a legal guardian
- You must understand & sign a release of liability waver in English
- You must participate in a safety briefing in English
- We reserve the right to cancel a session for the safety of humans or wolves at any time during and/or before a session
- Deposit refunds are only issued in extraordinary circumstances with a 48 hour notice.
